Chartered Engineer with principal experience in design and construction of tunnels and underground structures in both soft ground and fractured rock masses.

Specialises in analysis of tunnels and underground structures through rock and soil using advanced 2D and 3D numerical modelling; SCL (NATM) tunnel design and construction for large and complex urban station upgrade schemes; preparation of ‘for construction’ potential damage assessments for complex SCL and traditional timber-work drives adjacent to large cast iron platform tunnels, and design of large diameter tunnels in shallow urban environments.
